Only 3 main attributes now? Okay I'm alright with that, but.

I heard the old attributes from Oblivion will be implemented in Health, Magicka and Stamina. What attributes from OB do you guys think will go into Skyrim's 3 main attributes?

I couldn't come up with any that would fit into Health, though. And I can't figure out where Personality and Luck would go.

Any thoughts?

My personal theory is that it will be more reliant on the perk system +skillbase. This is my only real concern with the game(besides the chance that named soul gems won't be in). My main area of concern is that the majority of the perks designed to replace attributes will be generic and boring. For example

Strength base group - 1 hand weapon skill - blade perk rank 1 = +5% weapon damage. It is a cheap tactic used by a lot of bad RPG's. In essence the attributes are still there but diluted even further than the previous 2 games attribute system. It's definately not as innovative as some people think. Hopefully I am wrong and all 180 perks are completely unique. But I doubt it.

Luck was kinda pointless (and pretty arbitrary; how does one become luckier?) to me but personalitys effects could easily be combined in the speechcraft skill. Along with perks to give bonuses you don't really lose anything

Strength - Handled by Health maybe, or simply perks and weapon skill. The Encumbrance component could be handled by perks and Stamina
Intelligence - Magicka
Willpower - Magicka
Endurance - Health
Agility - Stamina and perks
Speed - Perks
Personality - Speechcraft skill
Luck - I'm glad it's gone, it was a rather awkward "attribute" anyway

If they merged speechcraft/barter into a skill called Personality, that would kinda take care of the Personality Attribute by itself.

Don't know about LUCK, that seemed to effect all types of RNG..which BSG seem to be phasing out.
