I don't want it to grow. too much micro managing for something not very important. and the good part is that it isn't going to grow.

Most people just want to choose a style and not have to worry about the upkeep for it.

No. What next, having to brush your teeth and floss in order to prevent cavities? There isn't anything fun about having to shave (or brush your teeth, comb your hair, pop zits, clean ears, etc.) Just because snow falls dynamically doesn't mean we need beards (or earwax) to change with time.

After two weeks of play you mistakenly hit the '3rd person perspective' key only to find out that now you look like Gandalf.
