Kids

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 7:06 am

Has there been any more news on how they will be implemented within the game? I'm guessing they'll be similar to fallout 3 and NV in a way, like the other things from fallout 3 which they have included and traded over
older ES mechanics. Not that I have anything against that of course.

before anyone brings this up we cannot kill children and cannot talk about it

so far we know that children exist for the sole purpose of picking up our weapons when we drop them

Not to mention, that it'll be a "My invulnerable, essential, unharmable kid was kidnapped, so what the hell are the kidnappers gonna do anyway?" quest.

"Pay up, or we'll..."
"Or you'll what? "

haha I know. I would've prefered if they had left them out to be honest. You never know, modders may be able to remove their 'invulnerability' and cue the controversey.

Also, of all the provinces to introduce them in, why Skyrim? Its the manlinest of them all.

And since he's tied up in the kidnappers' lair...yeah, seems kidnapping his lollipop for ransom would be more of a threat, see. :D

I really don't want kids in the game.

It would be kind of stupid to repeat this whole thing with invincible NPCs. Especially if they are annoying good-for-nothing-in-a-game kids.

I don't really see a debate on this. I mean i know it's not "real life" and all but I mean if the're goin all out, i think kids need to be in the game. I mean how else are there gonna be any future advlts LOL

There is already one topic on this - that is enough for the moderators to keep an eye on.
