[RELz] Wood Elf Voice Add-On

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 10:45 am

EDIT: Ohh my lord, I can NOT believe I effed up the topic title =P

______

Hey guys. I made this mod a few years back, but I figured I'd re-post it and milk it as much as I can =P Also just converted it to another format, but that's useless unless you know what to do with them.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10607

This mod changes the male playable Wood Elf's voice to a younger sounding voice. (Voiced by me!)

To install, extract the "Sound" folder in the already existing "Data" folder, in your main Oblivion directory. (By default - C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data)

If you have any questions, or any problems getting this mod to work, please let me know!

Player Character have voices?

Or do you mean the grunts when the PC uses a power attack/ gets hit?

Yeah, the power attack/hit noises/etc. Not an actual speech voice, but... you know what I mean haha.

I don't mean to sound bad or anything, but do you have a teaser (like a youtube video) that features how the male wood elf characters (player character) voice sounds like in different situations (like when in combat, taking a fall's impact, etc.)? This is to help me decide if I want to download your voicefile mod or not!

Of course! I'm sorry about that. Had my head in the clouds when I posted this... (not like that. I mean I just woke up!)

Here's a YouTube video of the voice in action! - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRNaj4zUmAc

I'll be making a similar mod for Fallout New Vegas as soon as it's out.. voice mods are so fun to do when you have your own studio.

Here's some more, but this mod never made it since... well, lack of interest and I was missing a few pro voice actors to voice a couple of the other races - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_J5csBzrqs8

Question ladies and gents, do you prefer mods that have .esp/.bsa plugins? Or just adding folders?

Nevermind! I just completed my first mod for New Vegas, in case anyone plays that... re-voiced the player for that so it isn't the same as every other male's voice. These are NOT the same files as the Oblivion mod, too.

Woo! :D

Sounds nice! I actually downloaded this few years ago. But I don't believe I'll play as Bosmer ever, I find them annoying. :)
