Use the search function.

Also DB has been confirmed and that's it, although the other guilds are pretty much a given in some form.

New factions that have come up are the Synod and College of Whisperers, as well as a sort of FBI service to the new emperor: the Penitus Oculatus.

Source for the latter?

Forgot to mention that they're not confirmed in the game itself but they've been introduced into the lore. One of the main characters in the Infernal City was in the Penitus Oculatus.

I just hope theres another epic thieves guild with an awesome quest-line like in oblivion, that was my favorite guild, even more so than DB.
The reward was oh so satisfying too.

Thieves Guild in Morrowind was pretty lame. Just a bunch of boring crooks that were for some reason allowed to function legally.

In Oblivion it was pretty awesome. I'd expect it to return.

I think along with the Fighter's Guild, there will be the Synod, College of Whisperers, Thieves Guild, Penitus Oculatus, probably faction quests dealing with the families ruling Skyrim right now (similar fashion to working with the Legion or NCR in New Vegas) and maybe a faction for the Imperial Army of the Mede Empire or something.

There could be a really interesting dynamic between Synod and The College of Whispers.

As far as Skyrim guilds go, just give me FG, TG and DB. I would be happy with those.

Guilds or all factions? Being an "English Nazi", I can't stand all this misuse of the word "guild", damnit! :verymad:

What was it about TESIV's Thieves Guild quests that made them better or more fun than TESIII's Thieves Guild quests?

Isn't a guild like a medieval version of a modern day union? I thought guilds were put in place to protect a specific trade of jobs so that not just any person could waltz into town and open up shop. He would either have to join the guild and do things their way, or get out of the town. Right?

I want to see the Morag Tong return. Bring back those more lawful removals of individuals as well as the more sneaky and evil ones from the DB

Oh, THIS ^^^^^ Completely THIS ^

I mean, I'd love having back guild-rivals. It felt so much more believable and fun. I love how ES gives us the freedom of choice but in Oblivion it felt much more linear than actual choice, you know? In Morrowind you could've joined either side and it-was-EPIC!
