Okay Would The order to Installing the patch be This. Oblivion Patch 1.2.0.416 and then unofficial Oblivion patch and then Unofficial Shivering Isles patch? Would I need to install Shivering Isles Patch 1.2.0.416?

Start Oblivion, get to the Main Menu Screen, in the lower left corner you will see a number, this is the version of Oblivion that you already have. If this number is 1.2.0416-then you do not need any Official Patch. If you have Oblivion and Shivering Isles installed you will want to use the Official Patch for Shivering Isles.
The usual install order for the Unofficial Oblivion Patches is UOP, then USIP, then UOMP. I would add the Supplemental Patch by Arthmoor, but depending on what mods you are using, you may want to install this later.

You have to install the Shivering Isles Patch 1.2.0.416 if you have Shivering Isles or the Oblivion Patch 1.2.0.416 if you don't.

The Unofficial patches are different, and can be installed at any time. They don't directly effect the Official patches in any way you may be imaging

So. If you have Shivering Isles installed, apply ONLY the SI patch. If you don't have Shivering Isles installed, apply ONLY the Oblivion patch.

In other words, the SI patch covers both.

Choose the correct one, and install that first. Then, whatever unofficial patches apply. Oblivion, no matter what. Shivering Isles, if you have that. Official Mods, for those that you have (i.e., DLC). Then, the Supplementals for the unofficial patches you've already installed (this simply updates them). And done.

To the best of my knowledge; if you installed the standard Oblivion patch (non SI version) and have SI, the you can just install the SI patch version over top. To get the fixes for SI as well.

If I have Oblivion and Shivering Isles What Patch do I use then. Oblivion 1.2.0.4.16 or Shivering isles 1.2.0.4.16 Patch? Or do I use both of those patch?

First Install Oblivion, then install Shivering Isles, and then install the Official 1.2.0416 Shivering Isles Patch.

Yes. It's the "Oblivion plus Shivering Isles Patch" really.



Yes. You will want both of these (don't forget the Supplemental ones from Arthmoor as well.)
