Will Skyrim be ported to Nintendo's new console?

More money does not necessarily mean better games. Look at EA and Activision

And as much as I loved Nintendo, after the Gamecube I lost all hope in seeing games like TES being seen on Nintendo consoles... I'd hope that most avid gamers have realized that there's been a dearth of games like that on Nintendo platforms. I dont see why anyone would be disappointed or surprised to be honest. Most people I know dont own Nintendo consoles for top of the line gaming.

If Ninendo turns things around and focuses more on hardware, rather than gimmick, then maybe TES could fit (at least a port for Skyrim seems likely). But I'd rather not see BGS hinder their progress with systems that are behind.

OK, to you then, when this new Nintendo console comes out, then Bethesda should stop making games for the Xbox 360 and the PS3? I do hope you understand that this New Nintendo Console will be more advanced then 360 and PS3...

The new Nintendo console won't be ahead for long, only a few years. when PS4 and Xbox 720 come out then Nintendo will once again be behind. I don't see Bethesda ever working with them anyway.

I agree. After the disappointment the Game Cube was, I lost all interest in the kinds of games Nintendo made. The Wii didn't appeal to me at all, and was more so a slap in the face to the gaming base, in my opinion, more than anything else. Sure, it had "motion sensors" and all that new jazz, but the games were silly, and the console itself degenerated from an entertainment system to recess. Nintendo really needs to step it into gear if they want to compete with Microsoft and Sony. But as I said, what they are doing is very risky. It will definitely pay off initially for the first few years, but who knows how much longevity the system will have after the next generation is released by Sony and Microsoft. Of course, if the new Xbox and Playstation cost well over $600 dollars (a bit ridiculous for a stripped down PC imo), who will be buying it anyways? May as well buy a PC at that point...

My general strategy is wait until consoles are at least about two years old before buying, so I definitely won't be buying the next-generation consoles straight away... plus after the hardware failures of this console generation, ESPECIALLY the 360's absolutely unacceptable hardware failures, I'm going to watch the next-generation consoles very closely. I want a reliable platform.

I don't really like the gimmick of motion controls, since in most cases it does absolutely nothing to improve the gameplay. Although the Metroid Prime games were very excellent in this regard, and the thought of ACTUALLY swinging my sword or casting spells sounds pretty damn awesome. I say yes, as long as the graphics are good and the the controls are smooth. I don't want to have to "waggle" the controllers, so the controls would have to be great.

Personally I hope not...TES just doesn't have a Nintendo feel...

How do you know? You've never played it on a Nintendo. If it were originally released on the Nintendo, and was ported to Xbox and PS3 after, you would say the same about those two. Lol
