If anyone would like to assist me with the mod, I would really appreciate it. Quests and scripts are my weakest points, and modelling isn't even on my list of skills (although very little of that would even be need).
When I was playing Morrowind, two mods in particular were my favorite. Uvirith's Legacy and Building up Uvirith's grave. UL added a lot to the interior of the tower, added some more quests, an amazing companion, and hours of extra gameplay just within the tower. BUUG allowed you to build and establish your own village outside the tower, as well as add expansions to the tower itself. They were naturally incompatible with each other, so I painstakingly created a patch, merging the two mods together seamlessly without losing a single thing from either of them. These two mods, together, made an amazing expansion to one of the coolest factions in TES. I'm hoping to bring a little bit of that magic into Oblivion, since Tel Valus is incomplete and is the only Telvanni mod for OB. I am incorporating Tel Valus into the mod, it will be one of the villages established. If everything goes according to plan (which it probably won't, but we'll see), then you will not only become lord of a tower, but also be able to expand it and grow your own village outside the tower.
So here it is. I'm making a mod that brings the Telvanni to Cyrodiil during the Oblivion crisis. The premise is that they were seeking to expand their influence a bit outside Morrowind, and just picked the wrong time to do so, and got caught up in the Valus Mountains dealing with gates. You will be able to assist them against the Daedra. You can join the ranks of the Telvanni and make your way up the ranks to Master. You will become the ruler of your own Telvanni village.
The main quest will revolve around establishing a Telvanni presence in Cyrodiil through various means, and destroying the Daedric presence in the Valus mountains so that they have a safe base. I'd also like to do something with the Telvanni and the Mythic Dawn, create a large battle or something similar.
I will tidy up this post and organize it somewhat later on.
I want to make the mod as compatible as possible with UL, since it will be adding a lot to the Cyrodiil/Morrowind border, and try to keep the FPS impact to a minimum.
If anyone has a simple request, something they would like to see put in, I'll see if I can do that. Any suggestions are also welcome.
And again, if anyone wants to help, please please please let me know. I'll be asking a lot of questions I am sure, since this will be an ambitious project for a first real mod.
