Enhanced Hotkeys is the only hotkey mod you'll ever need for the game:

Improved Hotkey's I say you can even modify the keys for the secondary cycles.
You basicly have one row of 1-8 , now you can have 3 rows of 1-8 not to mention that you can change gear from 9 0 - =

As the creator of Enhanced Hotkeys I of course endorse Belanos' comment ;)

With Enhanced Hotkeys, the hotkey grid changes to a grid with the number of columns and rows you want (ex: 4x10 for 40 accessible hotkeys). You can also define up to 3 secondary "wheel" for a total of 120 hotkeys. Furthermore, you can assign several items/spells to one single hotkey and change how EH handles it by clicking on the hotkey icon. If you assign 1 spell to a hotkey, clicking on it toggles between normal and auto-cast mode. In auto-cast mode, the spell is cast, without being selected when you tap the hotkey. Similarly, if you assign 4 spells to one hotkey, you can decide whether it behaves like a cycler or a multi-cast key. If a cycler, tapping the hotkey once will select the first spell, tapping it again will select the second, etc. If multi-cast, tapping the hotkey will cast all 4 in fast sequence without changing which spell you have selected.

There are similar functionality for items too...

As creator of Enhanced Hotkeys, I'm not exactly neutral, but everything Improved Hotkeys does, is handled better by Enhanced Hotkeys.

I'd like to throw in my vote for enhanced hotkeys as well, it's a fully featured and fantastic mod. Essential for any install of oblivion IMO. Been using it for about 3 weeks now and I don't know how I ever got by without it.

Not to mention my own mod http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34613 that'll let you bind multiple itesm to the same hotkey for fast inventory swapping. It will work fine alongside the other hotkey mods.

Well I hate to say it, but Fast Equipping is redundant since Enhanced Hotkeys now has the gear options built in. Unless of course someone is foolish enough not to use that mod.

@ TheNiceOne

Since you're here, have you ever considered a multi-potion key? It would work kind of like multicast for spells except it applies to potions. That's about the only thing I can think of that your mod doesn't have right now.

enhanced hotkeys is indeed excellent, complete, very simple and intuitive. I use it and recommend it. I have yet to find a useful hotkey feature offered by another mod that is not at least as good (most of the time better) in enhanced hotkeys.

I don't have the faintest idea about why you say so

Well, Fast Equipping's gear functionality is quite a bit more advanced and can do a bit more, than EH's gear functionality, and they work very well together (you can assign Fast Equipping's gear items to EH hotkeys, even as cyclers), so if you want more advanced gear functionality than EH offers, Fast Equipping is a very good companion.

I haven't thought of that. It is a good idea, though I tend to not have enough potions of a given type (remember that almost every time you level up Alchemy or change alchemy equipment, the potion gets a new formId) to make it worth spending too much time for setting up their hotkeys... but I'll keep the idea in mind.

I have to vote for Enhanced Hotkeys as well. The only thing that bothers me about it is that I sometimes get confused about which spells I actually have on the hotkeys, since only the first 9 show up.

I worked a mod around making a single hotkey do lots of at once, rather then making more hotkeys that have a large range of features. Fast Equipping is not a hotkey mod....Enhanced Hotkeys has that covered, and no other mod can really compete with it.

Fast Equipping works great with Enhanced hotkeys as it allows you to have even more control and customisation over items on hotkeys.

Yes, I've tried Fast Equipping with Enhanced Hotkeys before, mainly when you didn't have the gear options. But I find that your functions are good enough for me. And I don't care for that extra clutter in my inventory that the Fast Equipping items creates. I already have more than enough stuff in there to deal with.

It might require a bit of micromanagement from time to time when using custom potions, but it wouldn't be an issue with the stock potions at least.

When was the last time you upgraded? You can now see the entire 40 key grid onscreen and can switch easily between the various wheels to view all of your used keys. All you need to do is click on a key in the grid display and it will tell you what you have bound to it.
