I haven't noticed any effect on the performance at all and I have pretty old PC, large number of mods (I really mean a lot), lots of new NPCs...
The thing with scripts is that they do add up. And as a general rule scripting things makes it much more difficult to track down conflicts. I'm now talking about scripts in general.
Only thing I'm sorry is that I didn't included some setting to toggle equipping on/off. I guess I'll make an update.
I don't know how ini files work, but another solution may be to just make an alternative version that doesn't equip the new robes. Then the NPCs can decide for themselves what to wear.
But how is that handled excactly? Is it based on the value, so that they will equip the most expensive equipment?
Edit:
I guess that any problems with CNRP mod shouldn't really be a problem because this mod does only one thing, and if the user doesn't want to have priests in priests robes, then why would one use this mod at all?
Because the mix may end up looking weird: http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w179/octavius243/Kjetto/ScreenShotGueryne_mix.jpg?t=1272267041 and http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w179/octavius243/Kjetto/ScreenShot723.jpg?t=1272267535
CNRP versions: http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w179/octavius243/Kjetto/ScreenShotGueryne_cnrp.jpg?t=1272267207 and http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w179/octavius243/Kjetto/ScreenShotOtius_cnrp.jpg?t=1272267292
But what is lore correct?
Are priests supposed to have "uniforms" or are they free to dress individually?
If the former, I'll just remove the prists from CNRP, or edit it so that they just keep small things like glasses.
If the latter, I'll edit the script of Priest Robes so that they don't force equip them.
I guess I'm a bit anol, or a purrfectionist.
