I came up with this picture during a google search of "Bethesda" it highlights ZeniMax buying out ID but thats not what caught my eye.
The picture they use puts bethesda trademark on a sort "cloth" background with a TES letters.
My question is if anyone else has seen this on any other Bethesda games or if it might be coming from a future game?

It's the bottom border of the Oblivion box/manual.

EDIT: For the sake of completeness, it translates as "The waters of Oblivion [indeterminate]."
EDIT2: After consulting my manual, as best I can make out (that print's tiny) it continually repeats this phrase cyclically: "Forever reborn in Blood and Fire from the Waters of Oblivion for Lord Dagon" There is no determinate beginning or end to the phrase; it could begin or end wherever you choose it to.

Wel lsmall question, what does the writing on the cloth say? (I'm not too fluent in daedric)

And "The waters of Oblivion" is apperently a book in Oblivion(thegame) evidence that the picture maybe just reused material.

Depends how new the article is. Not entirely sure what the pic means (if it means anything), but I wouldnt think about it too much, probably nothing.

perhaps its a hidden meaning underlying the truth of the buyout of Bethesda, with the programmers sending encrypted secret messages to others fluent in daedric..... or maybe its nothing lmao

It's a screenshot of the logo on the box art for Oblivion ( http://media.teamxbox.com/games/ss/1041/full-res/1122479510.jpg ). It looks a bit different, but I think that's just attributed to some photoshopping fromt he image's originator. The only meaning to the pictures is that it features Bethesda's logo with a cool background. How can I be so sure? I wrote the post on VG Tribune, lol.

Sorry if I'm bursting any bubbles of hope for new Bethesda games . . .

more exactly they just cut out the Bethesda Softworks/Zenimax part of the Oblivion box.

That's what it looks like to me too, in any case, it's too close to the Oblivion box art to be for a new game if that's what people were thinking. I'm sure it doesn't mean anything. I'm sure we'll some day see an Elder Scrolls V too but this isn't a sign that it's currently in the works, or that we'll be hearing about it soon.
