Gameplay, hands down. You can have all the shiny graphics graphics you want, like Oblivion. Without good gameplay, like Oblivion agian, you have a poor game.

Now you know why Oblivion failed, poor game play.

Let me also add this, both are important but only one makes the game great. That would be gameplay.

This, If i didnt care about graphics i would still be playing morrowind because its soo freekin awesome.

This has EVERYTHING to do with Skyrim, just like it had EVERYTHING to do with Oblivion and every other TES game to date. It actually has to do with EVERY game on the market. Some games, like FPS's, need graphics to sell the game. Those games graphics are the most important because most of the time there is very little game play, other than aim and shoot.

An RPG is completely opposite. You have to have game play because graphics alone can't Role Play.

Well, I play and love Minecraft, so I think it's pretty obvious where my preferences lie.
