It's about time someone blessed Oblivion with the armor from that pinnacle of first-person shooter action, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chex_Quest. That's right, I'm talking about http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/1/12/Chex_Quest-front_cover.png. It's obviously one of the most inspired, aesthetically pleasing, and all-around fashionable armor types ever conceived, and it's nothing short of a travesty that it hasn't been implemented in Oblivion yet. Of all the well-known outfits that have graced games and other media over the past century, I would have expected the Chex armor to have been added to Oblivion first, even multiple versions by various modders eager to add it themselves should exist by now, but alas, searching for "chex" on tesnexus returns no results. Are you the one to finally complete what most consider an inevitable, yet challenging feat? Do you have what it takes to model and texture an extraordinary piece of armor unlike any that has come before?

It seems the legendary stature of the armor may be too intimidating for most... It'll take a true master of models and textures to create something worthy of its sacred name...

What would be even better is if someone could make two versions of it, one that you have provided in the link, and another with the helmet cage closed (the two "pauldrons" are actually part of a helmet that closes together, creating a perfect Chex square.) Ah... This is probably the most original armor request I have ever seen on any forum. Even if it is meant as a joke, this would truly be a work of art should someone create it.

I actually have never played the game, but when I came across it somehow browsing Wikipedia and saw that armor, I just couldn't resist. I mean, it's sort of a half-joke request, I guess, because I really do want to see it get made. Maybe one day...

I too once played through this amazing cereal-box prize. I don't think I'd ever download such an armor mod, but it's very existence would be worth a laugh.
