Lord of the Rings armor Mod

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 8:56 am

Right,

So my favourite movie is the Lord of the Ring and Oblivion is near enough my favourite game. There are quite a few weapon mods out there but not many LOTR armor mods. So is anyone willing to make one on the one condition that i can in some way be involved in the process. It needs to be someone who can make detailed new meshes as i think that if this works it would be a very good mod/mods. I am happy to contribute in the creation although i have no experiance actually making a mod myself.

Please reply,

You probably need to be more explicit. What armor from lord of the rings? The only armor that really seemed unique was the ring wraith armor, which is already made. Also, you might want to mention what skills you bring to the item creation.

At the moment obviously it's just an idea. I have no skills in physicly making the mod but i can contribute in terms of ideas and suggestions but i am willing to learn to make mods. Remember that i am suggesting this mainly for other people who want to see this done and not taking it on personally to make it.

This is perhaps an example of the kind of armor:

They could also be clothes and armor INSPIRED by the film. So that they are unique but still have the right feel to them. Let me know your thoughts

Well since time has passed there have been many new LOTR armor mods. And MERP still looks brilliant in the making, is there a release date for the whole thing yet?
