When I realized that everything in Oblivion would be handed to me on a silver platter (or more literally, on a dead bandit).

everything has too much HP and does too little damage. i swear that on my lvl 46 nord on about 75% difficulty, my sword broke before i was able to kill a small group of goblins

at high levels fights are just boring tests of endurance

...He also fought the Daedric hordes during the Oblivion crisis when The nerevarine (us) was not there to save the day as he/she had before.

Where did you get that from?

Very true in oblivion, you wont get rich looting chest but you will by looting dead bandits.

Ya it's just not interesting to loot caves or dungeons in Oblivion. The game decides, according to your level, when it's ready to give you something, and by then it's pointless. I'm sure everyone remembers in Morrowind the first time they braved a dungeon they probably had no right to be in, and found something awesome that made for a memorable play experience. That NEVER happened to me in Oblivion.

Oblivion: This Post Contains Dark Brotherhood SPOILERS!:
Spoiler
Mine was in one of the DB quests, you had to escort some guy to the Grey Mare Inn so he could get to Morrowind and escape Cyodrill. I wanted to go with him sooooo bad!
....thats when I knocked him out....
Arena: I can't believe that Tameriel wasn't what I thought it would be! I DL'ed the free version.I started to play and....Spending 2 hours getting out of the frickin' dungeon to find myself in a huge frickin' town in a huge frickin' empty world!
Daggerfall: *opens menu to see character*.....*changes clothes*......*Takes off running at full speed, while screaming like a little girl*
Morrowind: nothing to say about it, being I've only played about 5 minutes of the game.

The hand-holding and generic world of Oblivion were disappointments, though not deal-breakers. The game engine had enough strengths to keep it a playable game. Shivering Isles actually seemed all the more awesome after Cyrodiil's averageness too.

For Morrowind, I'd say the Tribunal ending was kinda a disappointment, but more from an in-universe point of view.

Also, I feel sad that even when you're a God, you don't have any super-unique power or ability that never ever runs out.

Agreed. I wanted the awesome power of causing dog storms over Elsweyr :(

well, you see, back then when i was a young lad, Arena was the [censored] game to have, along with the SSI games.

Daggerfall: *opens menu to see character*.....*changes clothes*......*Takes off running at full speed, while screaming like a little girl*

not sure what you meant by that, but yes people dont have permanent underwear glued to their body under their clothes.

Morrowind: nothing to say about it, being I've only played about 5 minutes of the game.

..okay.

Huh, I've never heard that in-game before. Is it said during the non-player characters' laughable conversations?

My most disappointing moment was when Jagar Tharn died. seriously, how could they kill him off? They could have at least sent him to another dimension where he still lived and people had hope that he MIGHT one day return..... Tharn is like my favorite character in all of the elder scrolls, and for him to die just devastated me; I still have hopes that he's going to pull some crazy trick and come back to life somehow, or his son (wherever HE is) turns out to be just as evil as him, and just like him.

i was dissapointed with level scaling, lack of variety in equipment, less factions, magic, inventory management, non unique races, imperial province with no imperial faction, no rank requirements, fewer skills, and over time i realised i prefered the MW customisation options. i still liked OB though especially with DLC.

Guess my biggest dissapoint with OB was the simplifyed skilltree, lack of spears, ugly high end armors for light armor, the pathetic story, Oblivion gates, and game being bland and generic.

I was disappointed with the scaling system is TES: IV. Didn't appropriately satisfy.

The difference between Daggerfall and Morrowind. I enjoyed Morrowind, don't get me wrong. But I was still romping around through Daggerfall when Morrowind was released.

Most disappointing: After running through all of Imperial City and surroundings, there's no sign of Caius Cosades or his family. :( And he sounded so happy to be able to see them again. I hope they're well ...

Second place: Erm, no, sorry. You silly sickly looking Altmer guy hiding deep in a smelly cave aren't Mannimarco. No way.
