fake spell

hi. i want a NPC to magicly "read my mind" as a part of my quest. however there is no such spell or is there an effect that does this. how can i make it look like he casts a spell on me?

Just make a random spell, e.g. heal 1 point, and make the dialog make it seem as if they read your mind

To make it fit with the game, use a mysticism spell. My suggestion would be a custom on touch absorb willpower spell, set to always succeed, with zero cost. Make the duration and magnitude whatever you want. 10 seconds duration and 100 magnitude might be good. You don't actually need to give the NPC the spell in question.

To see the effect, start a game, find Fargoth, and open the console. Now type in the command as follows, hit enter, and close the console.

fargoth->cast "absorb willpower" player
