[WIPz] Sounds of Cyrodiil

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 6:30 am

I'am thinking this is dead was

As long as I still have the files, the mod isn't dead. :P

For the last couple months, I didn't have much time to mod I'm afraid, and that is why there was no progress, or updates to the thread. I apologize for this.

I have a bit more time now, Though the modding time is being put on doing LMR's compatibility patches.

Thanks for keeping the heads up anithinks, for some reason, I didn't receive any email notifications when posts were made in this thread or Oblivifall's. :)

I do hope, really hope, to be able to release Sounds of Cyrodiil before Skyrim is released, of course.

This sounds pretty exciting. I already use an ambiance for cities mod, but this sounds far superior to it!

One request though: I absolutely can't stand the sound of buzzing insects, especially if it's in my ears. Please make that part modular.

Don't worry, they buzz is not common. The bee nests are sparse and the random insect buzzing in your ear is rare. :)

Morrowind crystals? :D

Spot-on! ;)

Just saw this thread because of the bump, and didn't see the [WIPz] in front of it..lol. I hope time permits and you are able to finish this! This sounds like a must-have mod, and it would have a very welcome place in my game... playing oblivion since 06, I really love immersion-enhancing mods to add a sense of freshness and life. Yours sounds like a must-have!

Edit: Even with the necro-bump, I still hope to see it eventually.

Is this going to be compatible with Open Cities? I had Ambient Towns before, but only the IC had those sounds as it relied on the separate worldspace.

I am looking forward to this mod so much. I don't want to play through Battle of Bruma before I can have the new sound tweaks! The trailer is awesome. I'm already using all of your mods, Cliffworms; you are incredibly talented :) Is there an update on S0C at all?

There will be an OC version indeed.

I had been taken by the total conversion called Real Life.esm, for a while. I'm now back and kicking and, in this mod's case, sound designing. I'm currently working on implementing the city/tavern sounds. And recording a couple as well.
And thank you very much for the feedback. Really appreciated, Rumple. Here, have a Guinness on me! :foodndrink:

Good to know you're working on it. I thought it was dead when I saw the 2010 OP date. I'll download it when it's ready, thankyou for bringing it back.
