Well aren't you cool? Just because you have no interest in it dosen't mean they shouldn't add it to the game .... You're being extremely close minded


its just his opinion, no reason to get personal guys..

To everyone,
this topic has its relevancies, however i can see why people would want this include/excluded from skyrim
but the lore in TES has its drugs and those drugs do have effects, the question is whether or not to include actual lore into this installment of the next TES game.

Addiction. Ala Fallout.

But make the stuff actually worthwhile to begin with. I should get some pretty crazy boosts from the stuff. Especially Skooma/Moonsugar, but the addiction should be worse. I also wasn't too fond of Fallout's super AA meetings while you sleep. It should at least take a few in game months of time and effort.

And some Races should be different than others. Nords seem to be heavyweights. Make them get drunk slower, for example.


Some kind of counter could work (be it visible or hidden).

Sober - Tipsy - Drunk - Wasted - Passed Out.


It could be nice to wake up randomly when getting to the latter phase, lacking money/items. (Don't go get drunk with 1,000,000 septims) It would be nice for it to be taken seriously, too. While the actual being wasted stage can be as immature (in a good way) and hilarious as it likes, the addiction and what-not shouldn't be.

Could Hangovers work in an immersive way? Perhaps I have lower stats?

I'm with you, personally I thought collecting skooma was one of the funnest concepts of Morrowind, the skooma pipe never left my inventory... it would bum me out not to see it in Skyrim

I would have so much fun. I could play an entire character that way. Having "My God, you're DRUNK!" statements from guards and NPCs would also be funny.

It would be even better if you could urinate in the street, write your name in the snow. :foodndrink: Male only perk, of course.

I wouldn't say that it bothered me that the drugs and alcohol in the game didn't have more realistic effects, but it would be an improvement if they did.
