Hi there,

I have spoken to Mahres and received the cure disease potion from Nerile to deliver to Geon; however, when I enter his home he says "okay I'll find someone else" and says goodbye. He won't speak to me so I am not able to give him the potion. Earlier in the game, I declined helping him procure the droth dagger from the estate sale. Is there anyway to get him to respond?

I've already been through the sewers and smelled the "smell" in the ruins and I've possibly already killed the rats in the temple basemant ahead of time. Has this ruined the quest for me?

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Remove all of your clothing. Usually NPC’s will tell you to put something on and you can again talk with them.
