When I start up the game and it goes through all the things and when it should go to the main menu it crashes every time with this error "Music Error: Can not play file. Data Files/Music/Special/morrowind title.mp3

I bought this game with steam so I tried to verify the files, it finds one broken and fixes it but it still crashes and it then I get a broken file again. I have tried to restart my computer and such to no luck

My specs are: Windows xp, 9600Gt, amd x6 and 4gb of ram. Everything is up to date. Thanks

Try setting Windows Media Player as default .mp3 player.

I tried but to no luck Still crashes with the same error. I have the logitech g35 headset that uses soft ware not hardware if that helps at all

Update your sound card software.
This is usually available for free download on the manufacturer's website.

I updated both the g35 software and the realtek software but still the same error

Try re-installing, making sure that all other Programs are closed and your Anti-Virus is turned Off.

And double check that Windows Media Player is the default .mp3 player. (Because that's the usual cause for this error)
