Mass Effect 3 vs Skyrim! : V - Skyrim

Skyrim and Mass Effect 3 are the main titles this year! They both our RPG's and are both epic! I know most if not all of you are getting Skyrim, but just fill out this poll. Leave a comment on what you voted and why! Thanks

I will only get SR I like open world rpgs, I don't play any kinds anymore.

SR... that reminds me. I will probably be busy with Saints Row The Third around the time of Mass Effect 3.

I will get Skyrim and then I will get Mass Effect 3. I may wait a little for ME3 though, considering how Bioware does DLC and the main game drops rapidly in price, if ME2 is any indication.

Both are absolutely fantastic series to me. This is a great year for RPGs!

Ha this year I'm getting Skyrim, ME3, BF3 annnnnnd FIFA 12. I'm 18 with a good job at Costco but I defiantly will need some holiday lovin from the mommy lol. It's going to be a great year game wise though. Cant wait

lol I dont really care about Battlefield 3. I used to be into MW2 and I was a quickscoper. I was #7 in North America. I was in the #13 clan in North america. I was pretty beast. Here is the link to our old youtube

Mass Effect 2 was a total let down for me. The story wasn't nearly as good and the RPG aspects the original had were scrapped in favor of a crappy 'adventure' theme. :meh: :meh:
I couldn't care less about ME3 as it will likely be the no different. Skyrim? Duh, winning...

On topic: Bethesda > Bioware. By using this logic, TES > ME. Thus, Skyrim > Mass Effect 3.

Both good game series, looking forward to both of them.

But, then, I'm one of those strange people who lets himself like multiple games and companies. :tongue:

(Actually, I'm also really looking forward to an "Ultimate" edition of Mass Effect 2 - I didn't bother with any of the pay DLC, and skipped some of the "free" ones, so I really want to get another copy of ME2 with all the DLC included on disc. Get one "full" play of that in, before ME3 comes out.)

Yeah, the story was a bit weaker than ME1. But in some ways, I thought the "RPG elements" (you know - the dialogue & decisions) were stronger than the first game.

i'm not sure if i'll get mass effect 3 or not.
i loved the first one, one of my favorite RPGs.
when playing the 2nd one i just got super bored... and i didn't really like it, probably kuz they took out most of the RPG elements (which RPG elements make an RPG).
SKYRIM's a definite though!

I came in 10th in a state spelling bee when I was in junior high. I'm sure you care about that as much as we do about your being "pretty beast" at MW2.
