Bathing

We know from the trailer that blood will splatter the player during combat . . . so why not make this blood persistent (instead of having it fade away in a few seconds, like it does in FO3)? Then make it so that the only way to remove it is by a bath/swim. When you are blood-covered, people should treat you a bit differently.

BTW: There is actually a http://amito.freehostia.com/Oblivion/OB-mods-Part3.htm#Bathing available for Oblivion.

Lol, kinda like the Borean Tundra in WotLK :hubbahubba:

Very realistic and creative idea (in regards to a player's disposition and disease contraction). But this be quite a chore each time I played, having to wash myself over and over. Something I could do without. But cheers to a creative idea :foodndrink:

Hey guys! I have a great idea!!!

Let's take magic out of the game, let's take every elf and beast folk race out of the game, lets make it where you can't heal your wounds except waiting for a couple of months in game, and lets make it where if you get stabbed in any vital part or you catch a disease or burned, you die and you have to start over! That would make the game SOOOO Realistic and Immersive!!!

if my stench can make my enemies eyes water i want some kind of attack bonus. that much stench would also make a stealthy character have a more difficult time of hiding.
NPC "i thought i smelled something. must have been broken wind."

Well my sarcasm detector just explode, so I will answer
Let's take magic out of the game

Done by Devs them self no more common magic anymore,
let's take every elf and beast folk race out of the game,

Why?
Anyway thats can be done, even you can do thats by them self since CS will be available.
lets make it where you can't heal your wounds except waiting for a couple of months in game

Wound thats actually wounds and diseases actually fearsome not just few red numbers in statistic screen, why not?
and lets make it where if you get stabbed in any vital part or you catch a disease or burned,

Critical strikes from backstabbing done by NPC will be awesome to see since actually make NPC use sneak, of course high level enemies can use powerful poisons, and even apply finishing move at player character.
you die and you have to start over!

There can be alternatives to death and reload, like Divine intervention what will save from final death of character for a great cost in chapels.

lol i dont even bathe in real life. Why would i do it in a game

This explains so much. :D

Sounds like Kingdom of Loathing, which actually includes "Stench" as a damage type. Of course you can use items which protect from stench damage...for instance fighting Bums, they'll occasionally drop a Bum Cheek. Get two, merge them with the in-game crafting system, and you now have a wearable Asshat which protects against Stench damage.

And now that I think about it...I want an Asshat in Skyrim.
