Bleeding?

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 6:11 am

Is it confirmed that you can shoot someone with an arrow and they will bleed out? I feel like shooting someone in the throat would definitely cause problems ...
If this is confirmed, then do you think they would stack? Meaning, if you shot them in the throat twice, would thedamage over multiply by two

I think that shooting someone in the throat once is enough to kill them, why twice?

And it's been confirmed for awhile that bows are a lot stronger, capable of 1 hit kills. There's even perks to hold your breath to steady your aim and a dead eye thing like in RDR to slow down time.

Bleeding out? Meh, who knows, perks may cover that.

I don't think it's been confirmed for ARROWS, but I think Axes are supposed to have this effect. Arrows might end up getting it too, or maybe a perk for it.

I feel like blood and bleeding would be a very realistic addition to the series

Obviously I'm talking about blood, not an animation of blood.

It'd be so cool, if you could shoot something/someone and follow the blood trail to their corpse. I hope a perk like that is in.

I'm assuming what you're talking about is more realistic blood, as in visible wounds actively bleeding, because an animation of blood is all you're ever going to get in a video game.
