Forlorn Watchman Bug

After I talk to the Forlorn Watchman near Fort Irony, something happens that makes it so that I can't approach the area without the game crashing.

I've had similar bugs before where it was like an invisible force field was surrounding an area, and if I crossed the field the game crashes. I have no idea what causes the problem, but normally I can set my video setting to really low, cross the problem area, and then everything works normally.

This time it isn't working. I even tried waiting somewhere for several days for the area to reset and I still crash when I try to enter the area near Fort Irony.

Has anyone else had this type of problem? Did you find a workaround?

These are all deprecated by COBL. I recommend you install COBL to save yourself some plugin slots and allow for better communication between your FCOM mods.

Choose one only.

However, what you describe sounds like a corrupt spawn. Waiting out the respawn time can help, if the corrupt spawn is one of several possible spawns. But your 1-24 hour timescale mod is changing your respawn time. Make sure you wait out the whole 14 days.

cwineman, I am posting so you can use the links in my signature to update/repair/replace your FCOM install.
If you are using Wrye Bash and a Bashed Patch, then try and use BAIN as your installation tool for FCOM too.
