i don't understand the question.

if all the town characters are killed, they will be dead, so they wouldn't be acting in any way at all.

Remarkable, Holmes, your powers of deduction never fail to astound.

Now, if you could just deduce what on earth the OP is going on about...

C'mon, stop being obstinate. You know damn well what he's talking about. If you walk into a town and kill everyone except one, will that one say "By the Nine! They're all dead! This is terrible" or will he say "Anyone looking for work should consider the Fighter's Guild."

I think he means something about respawning generic NPCs

I guess the question is asking if, when you kill people, they'll respawn and resume their schedules as normal?

Or he's asking if there will be people marked as essential, because in Oblivion when you killed them, they'd get back up but wouldn't be in combat and would just continue with their schedule.

That's not what the question says at all. "Would they return" implies nothing about one person left alive acknowledging the situation or not.

I believe the OP is just bored, and felt like creating a silly poll. If it was worded differently, and maybe had a bit of a better discription of what they were going on about, this could be an interesting poll and topic. But never-the-less, it did not turn out that way at all.

I will give this a while for the OP to explain his question rather than the silly smilies in the OP - otherwise we can close it.

Edit: Zero response, closed.
