Anyone use Simple Essentials?

I use a mod that many would Love. It is the Perfect Eat/Sleep/Drink mod!!

I have NO clue who created this ? it Works. I have been using this for 2 years and think others would find this a great Mod to add . All food works no matter the Mod that added it. if the Game sees something as food the Mod credits you for eating it.

This is the Read-me...lol
Spoiler
EATING: No more dinner plate. Just click on the food you want to eat, and it will be consumed. If you accidentally click on something that isn't edible, the mod will tell you so. So no belly-aches from eating silver nuggets either.
You'll usually get more than a fair warning before any penalty is applied--you'll start out 'getting hungry' (no worries), and then go to 'I'm hungry' (...okay...), and after that 'very hungry' (yeah). These stages take some time, so
there's no real hurry to gulp something right down--and if you just don't have a chance to take time out for a meal, you're not going to die. You will feel it, though. A good breakfast will fix you right up.

DRINKING: Pretty much works the same way. Three warnings. In my experience using this with OOO, you'll get rid of your thirst and get drunk at the same time, if you slug down something alcoholic.
I don't recall if you can purchase empty water bottles ingame, it seems to me that you can... somewhere. But I never do. That's where all those low-level potions that I never use come in handy. Just sidle up next to a well, lake, or
river, open your inventory, and press 'E' while you hover your mouse over one of those useless bottles. The potion will be dumped out, and exchanged for a bottle of water. :D But... there are two kinds of water--clean (from wells)
and unclean (all those creatures standing upstream in lakes and rivers, you know). And while unclean water can be used in a pinch and does fix your thirst, you can get sick from drinking it.

That's where wine comes in. Research has proven that a leetle bit o' the graqe added to unclean water destroys germs ... or at least makes them happy enough not to mess with you. So even cheap wine can be your friend--just use
a wine bottle instead of a potion bottle, and you're good to go.
BTW, you'll do yourself a big favor if you carry a good supply of clean bottled water when you go to Elsweyr ... water is scarce in the desert!

SLEEPING: Same three warnings apply to sleeping ... a long dungeon takes you down a few attribute points, inconvenient but not fatal. And there's no sleep deficit involved.

-Go into your inventory while looking at a well, or any body of water, for a lake or river I think you have to be actually standing in the water.
-Hover your mouse over a potion bottle, an empty water bottle or a bottle of wine.(Hover, don't click)
-Click on the 'E' key while hovering.
If you hovered over a potion bottle you get a new filled water bottle.
If you hovered over an empty water bottle you get it filled
If you hovered over a wine bottle, and you've got an empty water bottle, you get two bottles of watered wine.

Getting water from anywhere but a well will give you dirty water. You can drink it but you might get a disease.

This readme by me from posts on the internet....Note it says here that you use the "e" key...but for me its the space bar....MY Jump Key??

Anyone using this or have a clue who made this . it says Beta 2 in the ESP (and looking at it in Bash says DEFAULT for the Name.)

IS this from TNO? The Nice One.<< reason I think that...The HSB has this in there For status bars!!

I will say this up front....NO I will not upload this any place.

Reason for Post......This is a fantastic MOD that needs to be out there! Many would love it as I do.

My research has thus far shown that this mod "might" be the work of Skycaptain. Sadly, I've been able to find only a few vague references to it, but not the mod itself.

UPDATE: A search of this forum unearthed a thread started by Skycaptain late last year. In it he lists his load order. The esp in question is there. Not that that necessarily proves it's his work. But it is something of a coincidence, eh?

Skycaptain made it. I still have the mod, and there is a thread somewhere requesting that mod be uploaded...

Thanks Anithinks! I stumbled upon that same thread myself, but you beat me to the punch. One of its posts contains a still-usable download link. I'd not heard of Simple Essentials before, or at least I recall nothing of it. Sounds interesting. I've been thinking to add a few more immersion-type mods to my load-order. This might be just the thing.

Nice detective work guys....the mod works great... wonder why Skycaptain never did a release at the major sites....With a combo of 3 mods it is so completely immersed in that nothing screams do this go there...yes there are some upper left messages..eg; im getting tired.....your stats take a hit at some point. I guess this just happens to fit into my play style....I play the Game like i am in the Game...I sleep every day, some days I just go out and hunt, sail the weekend away...Guess this is one of the gems that gets away...

Simple essentials
Shads water buckets
HSB (Hud Status Bars)

With water buckets at most all the wells in game and the Status bars what more could one ask for...lol I ended up havin no time yesterday to search thanks for the help guys...
