Spell Wielding

The whole way you wield spells and items has got me a little worried. I am the kind of gamer who likes to use a large repertoire of skills and spells when I play an RPG and being limited to 2-3 spells at a time would really irk me. The Fable series did this, with the spell weaving aspect.

In Fable 1 you could cast nearly your entire spell book. The transition to Fable 2 saw a dumbed down/simplified version of spell casting. A lot of the spells had been removed(mostly the 'buff' or 'aura' spells which had to be recast) and you could only really cast 3-4 different spells at a time. I believe in Fable 3 you are only allowed to 'hold' 2 spells at a time and you can combine their effects for a third spell. Obviously I didnt buy Fable 3 and this was the main reason why.

I am sure there will be some sort of radial menu or way to hot swap your spells out, I will be a sad puppy otherwise.

I'm pretty sure hot-keys have been confirmed. If not, you can always access your spellbook at any time, unless thats changed. Which I doubt.

It's confirmed that you can bookmark spells and swap them on the fly with the hotkeys. No worries.

Hotkeys for PC, ??? for console? Dpad+bumper/shoulder buttons? For a total of 8, 16, or 24 spells castable. That would be adequate... assuming they havent already made new features to map to these buttons.

Edit: Also some spells would be much more smooth if they were cast when selected. Such as buffs or summons. It seems silly to potentially have to equip a summon spell to a hand to cast it.

Yeah they have confirmed 'hotkeys' and other similar new things.
It's confirmed that they have definitely not down-graded the spells in Skyrim. Other than the Dragon shouts which are one at a time, They have a whole new aspect where they are viewing the magic from. Todd has confirmed that there is a whole new Spell category as well.

Being a bit busy right now I'm not sure if this is the right link (no time to read it) but I will assure you that hotkeys are confirmed if not in this link, in another article or interview.

Now, I deleted some less than nice posts and want you to know that flaming folks who are trying to answer your questions is not polite. You can google for the info as well as anyone can.
