Say a settlement was burnt to the ground by a Dragon or overrun by Goblins, could you use your job as a way of gathering resources to rebuild. Or help reinforce a village against a coming attack. Making potions to heal wounded, and weapons and armor for the people. Comments, Ideas?

I don't think they will have destructible building (at least as far as i know they aren't)....as for reinforcing towns i think it could be interesting. id love to be able to make specific armor for npc's and guards
