Indeed they look more bad-ass. I like what I have seen on the screenshot, though I have to admit I won't be playing as an Orc.

In Oblivion and Morrowind Orc's were always my main focus. Partly because I like the thought of my character being such a good guy when Orc's are thought of being such savage monsters to the eyes of others.

The looks of this new Orc on the screenshot is much closer to a proper BAMF. I wasn't planning on playing an Orc for my first playthrough, but after seeing the screen shot, I got very tempted to play as a legit commando kind of fighter: lots of health and stamina, equally adept at stealth skills and no-nonsense close combat armed with a single vicious looking dagger on one hand and little else. Good marksman skill too. I'll name him Rambo gro-Rambo :gun:

Never played as an Orc in any of the previous games. Probably won't in Skyrim, but they do look much better.

Yes and yes. I played one in Oblivion and enjoyed it for my warrior character. I'll likely do it again for Skyrim.

In Oblivion Orcs where by far the ugliest race, they had no personalities they where ment to be trong and what not, but they where not intimidating, the females where some of the ugliest things ever!

with the pics we have now, i can say they improved a lot, and i may consider playing as one.

we will have to way and see, maybe they can pull of a good looking and togh female orc, that will be the day, i say, man they did a good job with the orc race!

I know I won't be playing as one first time through, that place will remain to my trusted Dunmer! But maybe I will use one for my Let's play series?

Same. :twirl:

My first character ever made was an orc. Of course, I was young and stupid, and just went on killing sprees with the difficulty notched down. I recently made a kickass orc that did the KotN expansion, and retired in his priory.

So yes, I will be playing one in skyrim.
