Dwarfen ruins?

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 2:17 pm

Well in morrowind their were dwemer ruins right? I would think that Todd would have mean't that the dwarfen ruins you will see are like the ones in morrowind? I didn't read on lore so are dwarfs and dwemer practically the same?

I'm super happy that he did confirm dwarfen and/or dwemer ruins. :)

Dwemer are dwarves. They were called Dwarves by the giants, hence why the Cyrodillian's call them dwarves. They are nothing like Tolkien dwarfs, they are Mer (Elves) and descendant of the Aldmer.

I know what you mean man. I loved the Dwemer ruins, the lore behind them are facinating, and how they are able to defy Earth Bones is interesting. Really looking forword to learning more about them in this game, if the developers permit. (I'm a fan of the Dwemer obviously, probably because I like history in real life, so in game I also find it facinating even though its all fiction.)

Yes, and to see how advanced the Dwemer were. If only they had survived, i bet they would have made the world of Morrowind or any other world in Tameriel way more "high-tech". I hope to see the big mechanical spiders and things again :).

I did, well at first i didn't know what type of ruin or building it was. Dwemer ruins are hard to determine for me, considering i played morrowind nad the graphics are apparently way more out dated. I didn't notice. But now i'm pumped :).

If that gets you pumped imagine an entire Dwemer city ruin built into the side of mountain and occupied as major city by modern Nord society.
