I've seen this in just about every high-profile interview, most recently with Geoff Keily and Adam Sessler, where instead of asking questions of any substance like "How have you fixed level scaling?" or "How will the races differentiate themselves?", they decide to let slip gems like "Will you be able to play as a dragon?". That one goes to Geoff of Gametrailers TV, by the way. It was shortly followed by Geoff voicing his desire for Skyrim to have a "Dragon Mode", where you get to "play as a dragon". Ugh...
Look, dragons are cool, and anyone familiar with the lore of Tamriel knows that dragons are a remarkable occurance in the world. Their reammurgance sets the stage for what could possibly be the most chaotic period of Tamrielic history. That being said, all the game journalists see is a buzzword to latch onto. Why are none of them asking "real" questions?
I imagine poor Todd is getting fed up with talking about dragons for 90% of the interviews he's in. Maybe wishes he didn't include them at all.
