My first character will be a sort of lightly armored spellsword/mercenary, focusing on axes and (hopefully) on-touch destruction magic. He will be a generally kind guy who goes where the money is, but he hates the Empire with passion and will never ever take it's side in a conflict. Oh, and he's a Nord.

Second character will be a Redguard Gladiator. Fat, fond of huge swords and uses almost no armor; only pauldrons (if they are in), gloves and leggings.

I may of course change my mind, but I think these will be my first two characters. Third will use a bow.

A melee sword/shield fighter who moves around stealthily and takes enemies out with a dagger or bow where possible, but when actual combat happens she'll be screaming with bloodlust and hacking her foes apart. So I imagine she'll end up with a mix of skills. The sneaking/stealth one(s) will likely end up the highest simply from the amount of time spend crouch-walking through all those dungeons.

Second playthrough I'll probably try playing a much more battle mage type character whose wise and knows whats going on in the world (First char, like myself, being clueless at the beginning ^_^).

Edit: Though if the ability to become a werewolf is included in the game, my first char will undoubtedly end up as one so depending on how werewolves play it might change my playstyle to a more ranged centric one to weaken enemies, then go werewolf melee - if changing is a 'whenever you want' sort of thing.

Full on pure magic user, I'll scorch a path to my goal, surrounded by my summons.

She's gonna be a stealth based thief mostly. Since I plan on playing the main quest with her, she'll use a dagger for anything she can quickly kill off and something like a cutlass or katana to help with anything else, with some alteration and illusion for some extra help when needed, she'll likely use a bow and plenty of dragon shouts to take out dragons however.

My Second character will be mostly magic based, with a little stealth on the side.

Heavily armored Orc warrior, like I was in Oblivion.

My first will probably be the stealthy archer-mage. Stealth up, set rune rune trap, attack with a poisoned arrow, finish with melee magic if necessary. Probably will focus with Destruction, Sneak, Archery and Alteration (light or no armor) and maybe conjuration depending on how well it works in Skyrim.

I also want to try a Khajiit dual hand-axe wielding, illusion casting assassin. I just love stealth characters.

Edit: Oh yeah, and always Alchemy.

One hell of a Nord with every blunt weapon you can imagine in his arsenal, and he will be a master of heavy armor! :toughninja:

Humm...Yeah I think Just about everyone is thinking about this. I wonder how many people will bring their Oblivion Character to Skyrim.....

1) First run through I Look at all the races and then choose what I want based on how they look and decide if i like they play......
The Khajit, Dunmer and Breton are my pics.... In Oblivion I thought the Imperials just looked funny....lol.... The Khajit was easy to play as in Oblivion....But I hear that The Nords HATE Mer, so I would like to Play as a Dunmer (Hope to see some screenshots soon) depending on how well they look.
As of how ill play: Ill kill the first people i see (And dont think are important to the game) to join the Dark Brotherhood (assuming it's there) or steal stuff to Join the Theives guild....If both plans fail Ill just play the main quest untill I find out how to join the DB or theives (assuming they change how you join the DB and Theives Guilds) Then mabye the Mages, or fighters guild....I will play everything...lol I aways do....

I doubt I will use the race I used in Oblivion. I want to start with a new race for Skyrim.

I'll be playing a rough approximation of Robert E Howard's "Conan" (ie. not the movie Conan). A tribal nord from the remote frontier. Body forged of corded iron muscles and lightning reflexes from the harsh upbringing of the wilds. He is young, brash, bold, impulsive, laughs in battle, and capable of mighty deeds at the tavern. He is intelligent and intuitive, but uneducated and unrefined. Because of his confidence and self-sufficiency, greed and avarice are foreign repugnant concepts to him. The wealth he acquires on his adventures is spread around generously. He instinctively protects children and widows, and abhors the weakness of men who build comfortable lives. He isn't "racist" exactly, but he considers most other peoples and cultures weak and 'gone soft'. He adheres to the Courtesy of the Wild... where one only makes boasts and jests that they can deliver. Weakness and dependency are cardinal sins, and Freedom only exists for those strong enough to claim and hold it for themselves.

Unlike Howard's Conan, this character will have some schooling in magic. He will be born to the mystic/shaman caste of his tribe and thus schooled in the forms of magic most useful to frontier tribesmen: restoration and alchemy. He disdains his caste and rebels... wanting only to be a peer amongst the warriors and hunters. This has caused great strife in the tribe, and prior to the start of the Skyrim story, he has been sent on a Trial by his tribal elders. The trial is to accept banishment from his people until he has made peace with his calling.

He has wandered far, in a deep solitude and loneliness... cut off from his people, but forgetting his woes in the soaring highs of adventure. Seeing no way to reconcile the warrior and the mystic, he seeks only a worthy death. Skyrim will open with this man being lead to the chopping block for bedding a young noble's betrothed (and a couple of her maidservants).
