what happened to litle buster?

i was walking in freeside and I noticed something on the train tracks.I went closer to investigate,and it was little buster! how did he get there from camp mccarren? how did he die?

sorry about the misspelling,my keyboard is really old

Well, see, you did all the jobs he was hired for at Camp McCarron, making him unemployed. In a deep depression, he ran off to Freeside to try and drink away the feelings of uselessness before killing himself by lying on the tracks.

Not quite!
After you finish the three bounty quests, he decides he is done with bounty hunting and heads over to Freeside to make his fortune gambling. Apparently he doesn't do as well as he hopes and ends up dead after upsetting the wrong people or running into a Freeside Thug.

Poor guy. He didn't have a chance, against the ruthless Freeside Thugs gang, armed to the teeth with Pool Cues and Switchblades, wearing the impenetrable Brahmin-Skin Outfit.

He shall be missed.
