Hi folks, for some reason I'm having trouble confronting benny on this playthrough (no problems last time). No matter what way I try to deal with him I can't get into his suite, getting the 'you can not use this at this time' message. Now the ultra luxe is giving me the same problem. Worked ok first playthrough, and have no new mods that could affect the quest. No mention of any reported bugs on the wiki. Anyone have any ideas?

I have the same problem with Benny's suite. I killed him in his sleep but couldn't get out without using TCL, though my companions are able to open the door. I looked at it in the GECK and removed faction from the door but it didn't help. Somewhere there is a script keeping the player from using the door. All the chairmen are friendly enough though if you try to talk to them they will eventually say say something like "Hey, you're the freak who killed Benny", but they never go hostile.

Yeah, it's weird. Just to clarify, I've tried killing Benny straight off, going to the suite he comps for you and wiating for him there, then killing him, and I've talked Swank into giving me the key for his suite to search. So at least 2 ways of getting the key, and no dice. Can't even pick the lock.

Are there any other instances in the game that this 'cannot use this now' message crops up? Might help to track the problem down. I'm hoping someone knows what's going on, because otherwise I'll have to write off this playthrough, and whilst I like the game, I'm not sure I can put up with going through all this a third time. Thanks for your help.

Also, I get the same message in the NCR facility's cell block B. My brother, playing on another computer, is also experiencing the same problems. What gives Obsi/Beth?
