What series of enemies do you want to see back in Skyrim?

Post » Sat Dec 19, 2009 7:30 pm

Everything on the list except the wraiths. They were no fun to fight.

PS. It's "wraith" btw, not "wrath" ;)

Iron and Flesh atronachs from Daggerfall. I would have said Giants from DF and MW if we didn't already know they were going to be included. Other than that, I want Nymphs and Gargoyles back.

I forgot! Nymphs and Spriggans. The OP should have listed those.

or in some cases, if summoned incorrectly, killing their summoner and running amok all over town.

Haha, kind of like that quest in Morrowind where the idiot associate (forget his name) summoned a scamp and he locked himself naked in a closet to keep from getting killed while the creature ransacked his house! Ah, good times!

Well, since they have a dwemer ruin maybe they will have centurions too! I love those Dwemer Sphere centurions! Just awesome.

Spriggans should be a given. If Spriggans are not in, I will be sad :(

Well since they're bringing back dwemer and the dwemer ruins, then i'd expect to see centurions. :)

Shouldn't Antronachs be in the Daedra category?

They were separate entities in Daggerfall, they had the atronachs, and they had fire and ice daedra. Atronachs were meant to be golems.

They started lumping together in Morrowind, I'm not sure why.

As for my vote, Ghosts/wraiths, that is if I get to punch them in the face, cause punch ethereal undead in the face is always funny.

I would like to see the Daedra Seducers return, the ones that shed their clothes and sprouted wings before kicking your ass.

I never played Daggerfall, sadly. That is strange that they would just all of a sudden group them in with daedra, if they were not daedra.

It was weird to me too. Atronachs in Daggerfall were formerly human, sort of like Frankenstein monsters created by the mages guild, and often they died begging you to kill them just so they wouldn't have to go back to the guild. They were created by experiments in combining elemental powers with human test subjects. The fire and frost daedra were much stronger and more impressive than the air/fire/flesh/ice/iron/stone atronachs.

THe more the merrier

Took the words right out of my mouth! erm.. My hands...

I want to see all the old creatures along with new ones, naturally. I also look forward to hopefully reading 'books' in the game on all the different creatures so I can amass a library at my house c: With that said I hope moving objects and redecorating houses/putting things on shelves is much easier, because otherwise I'm just not going waste time collecting a personal library.

I also hope to see werewolves as well as vampires with the off chance of being infected by both at the same time. That would be an enjoyable 20 minutes until I reload a previous save.

That doesn't sound Daedric at all! Was there ever an explanation for this? Maybe the greater daedra and Princes started binding humans to make the Antronachs that we have known since Morrowind?

They never explained any of that, they just combined the atronachs with the daedra. I was glad to see flesh atronachs back in Shivering Isles though.

Oh ok, so Antronachs as we know them now were Fire Daedra, and Frost Daedra. Got it.
