WHY NO PS3 DLCS?!

Post » Thu Dec 24, 2009 5:57 am

This is complete and total [censored]!!!!!
Why make a game for multiple systems and only annouce dlc for one [censored] SYSTEM!!!! There are plenty of other people who probably love to have it, who knows maybe it will continue playing after you beat the MQ. SO WHY DO WE PS3 OWNERS HAVE TO WAIT WHILE XBOX ARE HAVING FUN SHOOTING UP SOMETHING!!!!! THEY DID THE SAME THING WILL FALLOUT 3 AND IT PISSED ALOT OF PEOPLE YOU WOULD THINK WOULD LEARN FROM THAT! If there is anythin I'm trying to say its launch dlcs for all the systems.

Here's a better question. Why are you even playing on a console?

Yeah, they did learn from Fallout 3...
They learned it's a great way to make money.

Also, there's a thread for this.

All that has been confirmed is that the first DLC in December is exclusive to the 360.This may be a time exclusive though.

If you're unhappy, go buy an xbox.

I'm a PS3 owner and I'm fine with the wait. It'll come to us, just be patient.

Yeah it is dumb. I had the game pre ordered for ps3 but when i heard that they once again signed a deal with MS I switched it over to the 360. Good thing I have both systems. I would of kept it on the ps3 but just like F3 I had been done playing the game months before the dlc came out for the ps3 and was not going to spend money on a game i didn't play anymore.

If you want DLCs for the PS3, just wait until FO:NV gets a GotY version.

When will people learn that life isn't fair. -.-'

It'll likely be available to you at a later date.

Also, I am playing on the 360 and whiel I don't regret the purchase, I am do with I had a machine that could run it so I can enjoy the mod community. I wish that the popular mods, like OOO for oblivion were "stolen" by Bethesda and tuned to work with the 360/PS3 as an aditional DLC. There are some very popular mods to Oblivion and Fallout 3. It's really shame that they are exlusive to PC users.

Was thinking this, I'll be upset if it's a big DLC pack but I imagine it's something minor

Console Exclusive DLC happens when there's money to be made as already suggested. Otherwise, it might be that a company rather release the content they finish first on the console they feel most comfortable working on.

It was the same for Fallout 3 and tons of other games out there, FNV DLC is no exception.
Still, it would've been nice if everyone got a chance to play it regardless of the system they chose to buy FNV on.

I'm going to wait for the PS3 GOTY FNV edition, but only if the DLC lives up to the task of being great and mostly crash free, bugs I don't mind as long as they don't stop gameplay.

I thought this might happen so it made my decision for me. Even though I wanted to buy the PS3 version I thought they might do what they did with Fallout 3's DLC. It really is a shame to do this to your customers making it so they need to buy the game for a certain system to get the DLC as early as possible.

Because it sounds like the PC version is bugged to hell.

PC owner. In my opinion, timed exclusives svck, which is what I figure this is. Content should be released for all platforms simultaneously. Hate it when publishers do this.

We've had a number of threads on this, I am sure there is an ongoing one floating around somewhere.
Yes business decisions can occasionally be frustrating. I am sure xbox or PC owners gripe equally in other forums when the PS3 gets an exclusive as well.
