Did you fee like you were in power.

If you have not completed the game then please don't read!!

When you did the yes man quest and killed house and got yes man to take over the main frame did you at all feel like you was then in control of the strip? I was surprised that you were not given the chance to hire a securatron like you are with the NCR and their rangers/soldiers. Also i think it would of made sense to maybe get some caps every 24hours because and money being made is then yours from the strip.

There are a few things I would of liked but I wont go into that.

I think they have quiet a few things planned for the DLC content and this is why there have been some things left out.

Also any of you notice and possible hints in game for upcoming download content? Some people are saying the BOS abandoned bunker has hints in about dead money. Also the burning man is possible but I think it is possible this is just there as a reference to their van project. I do wonder about the brotherhood because a lot of the elders dialogue is about them now having that upper hand when they take fight the NCR back but this is just speculation.

Any9ne else notice any?

No, I never felt in control because:

1.) I finished on hardcoe.

2.) I just wanted to get the acheivement so I told Yes Man to ignore everyone so I could just get the ending over with! :brokencomputer:

Believe it or not, I did. It was my first play through, and I hadn't dealt with any of the 5 groups yes man asked you to yet. But I went in and had an epic battle with some securitrons, gracefully executed Mr. House, then escorted my sycophant into the Lucky 38. Yes man installed himself in there and proceeded to inform me that I was now essentially the new Mr. House, so get out there and choose who survives!

Also, may I suggest this should be in the Cheats Hints and Spoilers section?

I'm sure I've heard tell that Father Elijah has something to do with the upcoming DLC. Didn't Veronice say he went off in search of new tech? Maybe that's the treasure they were hinting at...

If the ending slides are anything to go by even if you choose Yes Man you still don't end up in charge as everything falls apart when Yes Man leaves you hanging after the Dam.

My ending slides had Vegas as being a successful third power in the west. Little chaos after Hover Dam and all the problems where dealt with before the take over. If you just power through the Main Quest New Vegas will end up being a weak state.

I had a big contradiction between Kings and Followers over freeside. Kings claimed it was stable while the followers called it unstable. Maybe the followers are just wimps or I missed something that would alter their slide.

Yeah I think if you don't do the sidequests with Yesman, it turns out to be crappy and not much to be told of your exploits. I think I was expecting Yes Man ending to be OMG MESSIAH HAS COME EVERYTHING IS SO GREAT NOW YAAAAAAAAAYYYYY ending.

It wasn't LOL.

But in truth, I did power through a lot of stuff just to get the trophy so maybe if I went back and did everytyhing in detail and ended the quests as peacefully or as "good" as possible.

I did the Yesman option first go thru. I had originally wanted to turn the place over to the BOS or Followers. I was annoyed by other things such as no real support taking down the other two factions.

I wonder if the Burning man will have some appearance in the upcoming DLC.
