Lack of News and "Confirmed details".

Battlefield 3 will be released around the same time. There is less info on BF3 than for Skyrim.

Its all relative to what we the customer wants because yes while there are less " details " on bf3 there is also a full 12 mins of gameplay that they released.

Imyself cannot decide wich is better, having more info reguarding mechanics or acctualy seeing a relatively large segment of gameplay

A 12 minute demo for Skyrim would be awesome.

I'm mostly annoyed that all magazines and articles and whatnot just pretty much release the same info over and over again and again, just in different words.

Then again, Bethesda wants to spoil the game as little as possible and make all the total available info last as long as possible... so I don't blame them.

I think this has not been mentioned. Nothing new. British to the core....you've b een warned. Does not deserve a thread of its own:

I think it's good that they're not giving us everything right away. It'll make us beg for Skyrim for another six months and make us all have something to look forward to :)

Listened a bit to that podcast... yeah nothing new <_<

Anyway, thanks for the link to the Witcher 2 video. Looks really really great. Like 0:31, 0:38, 1:10, 1:34, 1:41, 1:46 <--- look at the wind animation, woah!!
1:56, 2.25, 2:32. After seeing this video I'm confident that it looks much much better than what I've seen so far in Skyrim, sadly. Skyrim's gameplay seem a whole lot better though and much more extensive. Still, I'm definitely going to buy W2 :P

About the rain thing. RDR had the exact same thing :P
I hope Skyrim has it too.

Just listened to the latest IGN PlayStation Beyond podcast and they have Skyrim as their GotY. They said the difference between Skyrim and the other games is that when they get together in January to decide GotY, they'll still be playing Skyrim since there's so much content. The guy who saw the demo last month in Utah also said Skyrim looks amazing.

Maybe they are just only asking what they can ask or what they know can be answered. Do you not think interviewers around the world try to ask different questions that we don't know yet? Of course they do, just because they don't publish them doesn't mean they aren't. They ask questions they already know can be answered so they can actually publish an INTERVIEW, other wise the article will just be "no comment" "no comment" to every question.

You dig?

I'll check the IGN podcast.
As much as i enjoy The WItcher 2 previews, I am rroting for SKyrim for GoTY. Why?
Ever since I watched that annoucement trailer last december, Skyrim implanted an emotional bond in my head.
It's hard to describe.
I just don't get that vibe from The WItcher 2, even though it might be technically superior.
