Maybe it's not about walled cities and no attributes..

Walled cities aren't that big of a deal to me, the removal of attributes seems logical at this point, and the depth of exploration in TES games has never been matched. Skyrim will be a great game.

You know you're going to be crucified for being an "over-zealous fan-boy", and accused of being a "console [insert derogatory soundbite here]", and blamed for all that is wrong with Tamriel, right? But I tend to agree. I haven't seen or heard anything that's going to break the game. Walled cities? So what. No attributes? Good news. No spears? Yawn. Can't ride dragons? Thank God... that's a dumb idea anyway. I think exploration looks great just based on the varied geography alone. Whether it makes me a mindless fan-boy or not, the game looks like many hours of fun. Honestly, I'm kind of tired of the "I've been playing since Daggerfall and they're dumbing it down" chest pounding and the "My hardware is far superior than your wimpy console" attitudes. I'm excited to play the game. Can't wait! (Or is that phrase trademarked now by that idiot Jets player?)

I don't like games being "dumbed down" for consoles but I've never understood why people care so much about the loss of arbitrary classes and attributes when they're replacing them with a superior and more complex way of defining your character in the form of perks, and killing two birds with one stone as doing so also fixes the awful skill gain -> attribute modifiers problem with the leveling system.

I didn't know thinking Critically about the information and not jumping to hype was a bad practice.

I didn't know reading, for myself instead of repeating the regurgitation some forumers have been spewing from Todds statements was a bad habit.

I didn't know being realistic instead of forming pre-thoughts about how the game is going to be before I even played it was a naive gesture.

So all of a sudden Optimist > Pessimist > realist?

I didn't know having an opinion was frowned upon.

and don't make me bring up the links and information related to why Perks do not equal attributes only skills, and how H/M/S are stat BARS like every other game, not an indicator of what the character can do.

Let them say what they will. I do play their games on consoles, ever since Morrowind, in fact the only Bethesda game I've played on PC to this day is Daggerfall. I don't think they're dumbing Skyrim down at all, only changing things, and change isn't always bad. I'm just as hardcoe of a fan as the PC users that post here, my choice of platform doesn't mean jack, and to be honest most of the PC players would probably agree that it doesn't matter much, it's only a small militant group of people that really care about stuff like that.

Forgive me if this has been answered before in the past, but are walled cities returning by any chance?

The true spirit of Morrowind was always adventure. Looking out across the horizon from Ebonheart, wondering what lay beyond the steep hills mountains. Gameplay kind of took back-seat to that, and then took over completely with Oblivion. I'm hoping Skyrim will be the perfect compromise.

All big cities like IC will have them, but Todd mentioned thats they work on smoother transaction between cells and wordspaces withou need of activation of load door like it was in Oblivion, I believe something similar to Underdark Team use event thats automatically transfer actor to next worldspace on distance to load point, something like darkened tunnel for example you just walk into it and then moved to entrance of next worldspace

You, sir, are a champion of rational thought! Don't change that, it's a good thing
