Huge problems with oblivion..

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 12:01 am

Ok.. breathe, take a deep breathe... (one, two, three).. Ok, i'm sort of calm

I had a problem with a certain oblivion mod, I went to uninstall the game yet it said I needed to find setup.exe and uninstall it this way, I found out that I could just delete all the files from oblivion, then run a cleanup and restart it. So i've done that, now I try to install it and nothings happening. It's not installed, it's not uninstalled..

I really need some help. Please if your unsure about my question, ask! I've been playing this game since 05. I'd hate for it to die on me.

It won't install because it hasn't actually been uninstalled yet. Go to My Computer, right click on the Disc Drive (which is usually D ) and select Explore. You will find the Setup.exe there, Double click on it and you will be able to uninstall.

Setup.exe is on the Oblivion game disc. Make sure the disc is in the drive, then follow the prior instructions.
