Obvious answer, but still... Vault 11. Or Vault 34. Any of the vaults really, they're all good. Interesting stories, good loot, they've got it all.

If you're up for a fight, Dead Wind Cavern. And then, for a nice change of pace, Lake Mead Cave. Just be sure to bring a rebreather.

I was fascinated with the backstory of Vault 11. I haven't been everywhere yet myself. But Vault 11 is probably my favorite so far.

Don't miss these:

- all of the outdoor theatres for garbage can looting
- the campsites of useless litter
- caves of a dead propector with a uselss 10mm gun and leather armor
- all other "wtf is this a location for?" places to visit

I really enjoyed doing 'Return to Sender' completely on foot, because at that point the furthest north I had was Boulder City, it is becoming my favourite quest.

Finish the song!

Well there's Moe on my left and Mary on my right,
And Janie is the girl well that I'll be with tonight,
And when she ask me which one I love the best,
I tear open my shirt and I show Rosie on my chest,
'Cause I'm a wanderer, yeah I'm a wanderer
I roam around around around around hmmm

Well I roam from town to town, I go through life without a care,
And I'm as happy as a clown,
With my two fists of iron, but I'm goin' nowhere.

Yeah I'm the type of guy that likes to roam around
I'm never in one place I roam from town to town
And when I find myself fallin' for some girl
I hop right in that car of mine, I drive around the world
And I'm a wanderer, yeah I'm a wanderer
I roam around around around around hmmm

If you're strong enough (you must be level 20 to have the perk, so go for it!) to the legendary world tour: there are four caves each with a legendary superpowered version of a common wasteland animal. To the people that say FO:NV doesn't have any challenges or decent "dungeon" loot I'm betting they haven't found these yet.

The rewards range from an enclave powered armor helmet and a unique autogrenade launcher to about 10,000 caps and a bunch of ammo depending on who you take on.

If after that you're feeling real pluckish, cross the river and take on the outdoor challenge areas: the lakelurk spawning ground and the deathclaw promontory
