can u work for caravans traveling place to place as a bodyguard or anything? (or anything similar?)

boxing gloves....just a melee "weapon" thing? or can u become a boxer? i noticed the arena with ceasar.... how far can u go in that?

in past fallouts on the pc u could be a boxer.. i think i remember that. and I'm pretty sure i remember being a bodyguard for the caravans and getting payed for it.... i would like to see these brought back, would anyone else? just little things like that make the game more fun.

Caravan jobs? I wish. Was disappointed when Alice Mclafferty said that there weren't any openings. It would be a great way to make money, and the Crimson Caravan is supposed to be notorious for dangerous routes, too.

Well you can round about do some work for the crimson caravan company, but no escort duty really. Though helping Cass track down her line o story did have a bit of a simular feel.

And no there is no boxing (unless you choose to do so on enemys per say) though there is the thorn/ceaser camp ring for a bit of bloodletting fun..

I actually liked both from the previous games but sometimes it is not a bad thing to not stick older ideas in game. Hehe that said I sure do miss being able to choose a nickname during the boxing side quest err and the porm star one and some of the npcs would recogniose you by that heh

Personally I think collecting weapons from raider and sell them to locals is a Caravan job.

Heheh I sure hope so Undisputed... Just for all the newer players who may not have got to experience the horror of starting out as a fluffer.

They've brought back some items from earlier fallout games that I sorely missed in FO2.

Namely "that gun" which is the .223 pistol (so named because players kept asking for "that gun from fallout and fallout 2")
They also brought back the classic-style Walther P-94 plasma rifle, now called the plasma caster.

The pulse rifle is back, sort of.

So are a few of the implants from FO2, like the Phoenix Assault Armor.

Other than that plot and quest wise, not much.

Though there are callbacks either jokes or played straight, ranging from Rose of Sharon Cassidy to the super mutant town.

I have found that some do, and some dont.

The dogs/flies/geckos near Goodspring don't seem to respawn.

However the Nightkin, Supermutants, and Centaurs (even Moe) around Blackmountain do.

The caravan missions are definitely something I miss from the old ones. Considering how epic they'd be in the Gamebryo engine I'm surprised they haven't implemented that yet, especially since caravans are a big part of New Vegas.

I use Goodsprings Source area to craft stuff at the fire. The Geckos respawn regularly. Flies respawn alot around Primm because I go there to collect bottfly meat to make sliders.....which sound pretty gross really.

Good to know I guess I did not go back to Goodspring as often as I thought I did...
