[RELz] Argonian Beautification Robert v3.0 (final)

Well, as the title tells I finished the last bits of AB Robert's update to v3.0, now being the 3rd AB package reaching "final" state.
The textures were always compatible to all Robert's Male bodies, but now I also adapted new meshes. This package includes full support mesh-wise for Robert's V5 beta.

Due to me still not having a platform to install and use the game on there's still no OMOD-ready'ness returned. However, if I got everything right, it should now be BAIN-ready and even installing it manually should be a child's play. There's nothing to "rename" anymore and every optional feature can be found inside its own folder, the contents of which simply have to be placed into the "data" folder.

NOT needed if you use Scripted Argonian Feet instead!You must have these installed BEFORE installing mine, or if you do it otherway round THEY will overwrite MINE!############## IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR USAGE OF jdayT's MOD#############Due to the archive not containing any readme (it's a separate file, easily missed) and quite a bunch of questions regarding this mod directed to me already, here's a quick summary of what jdayT wrote about it in his WIP thread some time ago.The way this plugin "ArgonianFeets.esp" provides the Argonian Feet to Vanilla NPCs (and ONLY Vanilla, no NPCs from any mods are affected) is by removing any shoes and boots and sometimes even pants from their inventories and adding equippable Argonian Feet and often also hand-selected underwear options.That's why it's recommended to have it load AFTER any other mods also altering NPCs' inventories in your load order, as otherwise those might revert jdayT's changes and remove the feet again.Also this plugin doesn't automatically add the feet to an Argonian Player. If you want to use the feet on yourself or an Argonian Companion, there are some equippable feet and feet with legs (don't worry, they have underwear)in an Ayleid Cask in the water below the footbridge in front of the IC Prison Sewer Exit where you first entered Cyrodiil.Let me add that my mod once installed replaces the files from jdayT's mod with ones fitting the respective bodies right away and also including my improvements and fixes to the Argonian Feet.It might also be important that this is currently the only alternative for people NOT using Robert's Male Body and TFF female body to get those feet into your game.My Scripted Argonian Feet Add-On currently does ONLY support those 2 mentioned bodies it was designed for!But I'm already working on conversions for the other bodies, so hang on.############## RECOMMENDED PLUGINS#############I highly recommend using the following mods as well to further enhance visual appearance of your Argonians:IAFT (Improved Argonian Facial Textures) from ShadyTradesman for highres face textures fitting the body textureArgonian New Face from Blackwood for your teeth to no longer hide behind your lips(take care that as far as I know Better Beasts uses a merged teeth mesh created from the "old" versions, so they will be hidden behind the lips again. This was done to free a slot for additional features but there are none, yet. So just change it back in TESCS to use the seperate teeth from BW again.)Morrowind Style Argonians from Jjiinx for this, well, more Morrowind style shape of the headNivea recently released an awesome alternative male skin for Robert's Male Bodies. It is fitting really well to the female IABT textures and makes a nice alternative to male IABT.(http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22844)############## MORE INFORMATION AND INSTALLATION#############This is only a compilation of resources, i.e. replacements for other things. You should by all means make backup copies before overwriting anything!By now it won't overwrite anything by just copying into the data folder.---Manual Install:--Textures:-IABT textures for your respective body are either inside the "10 IABT" or "10 IABTforFeet" folder. Just copy the folder contents into your "data" folder.-If you use the Argonian Feet, use the contents from the folder "10 IABTforFeet", else use the folder "10 IABT". Keep in mind though, I won't "replace" the pre-3.0 packages unless I can create OMOD-conversion data again. So all v3.0 packages are to be found as seperate downloads. Don't get confused, they're marked with "v3.0 (final)" in their description just in case.
Again, these are not "OMOD-ready" yet. The "omod conversion data" folder inside them is non-functional! It just includes every information necessary to do this later.
Scrap that. Apparently this is the only package where I missed this folder.

I hope everything's working and the new internal folder structure really was an improvement to its usability.

Uhm, this is for Robert's Male Body.
Exnem/HGEC is next on my list for an update to v3.0 and the new hopefully-BAIN-friendly folder structure.
However, there's not much missing in AB Exnem/HGEC at the moment anyways. I just have to clean up the folders a little, make some minor cosmetic adjustments at a few meshes/textures, and finally organize the whole thing into the new folder structure, for AB Exnem/HGEC to become v3.0 as well.

I'm using 1 single readme for all of them, and the one posted above is the latest, currently only true for AB Robert, TFF and Robert Female. So this is likely where the misunderstanding came from. I apologize.

Wow you went to town on the BAIN packaging - looks good.

I will repackage mine to include IAFT and then Nivea's body textures - which are amazing.

looking forward to HGEC and ... hopefully at some point a version of argonian feet that does not require pluggy.

And thanks to you for the confirmation. I'm glad I got it right on first try.

Well, I was intending to first finish the scripts for the dragon race, them always having been the "parents" of the SAF scripts (as those were just a cut-down version). But seeing how long it takes to iron out their flaws I can as well move ahead and improve the SAF scripts sooner than planned. However, without me being able to edit my ESP or to test any changes myself, this is rather not very likely... and when I'm finally able to do all this again, then the dragon race scripts should get finalized quite quickly anyways... oh, well.

Ahh, I misunderstood and thought you had all the body mods packaged together. It's packaged wonderfully though and I'm now checking out your current HGEC version as well. ^_^

Question: How can I tell if Argonian Beautification is working? I stupidly installed Slof's Better Beasts and Argonian Beautification at the same time, so I don't know what changes to credit to either mod. What's an easy way to tell the difference between a beautified Argonian and a mere Slof argonian?

BTW, thank you for the detailed reply to my issue earlier. I am a noob to mods but I am going over it carefully while I experiment, I want to figure out how these things work :P

EDIT: Ohh, my argonian looks much different after downloading your latest version here for v4 Robert's bodies. I didn't get the "splotchy scales" down the argonian's back before, it was all "chainmail scales"

Sounds like it is working.

But just in case, if it looks like http://img174.imageshack.us/img174/9692/veyondseamless8kd9.jpg just with black spikes the same as the claws, then it's AB.
For reference, http://img526.imageshack.us/img526/9181/argonianbackcloseupxu3.jpg is what the Better Beasts tails looked like before. They were using the TFF texture, one of the first things I altered with AB.

edit: My, are those pics old... texture seams and other issues already fixed everywhere!
Funny fact: The last one of them is actually the very first picture I ever uploaded to imageshack. :rolleyes:
