This.

Personally, want some advice? Start a new character. Its an RPG so its created so that you can keep replaying it in different ways...

Maybe this time, make a Melee character with awesome sneak skills who enjoys planting C-4 on everyone but has a soft heart?

How bout a Sniper who's great at hand to hand combat, and great with words and bartering?

Lots of things to do buddy, so little New Vegas time.

I'm hoping that at some point they release a DLC a la Broken Steel that allows you to play after the ending and lets you really see how your choices impacted the world around you, as opposed to just giving you a slideshow.

Umm.. Lets not.

Broken steel was just the Dev's reaction to a overwhelming amount of complaining fans who were "so" upset there 30 hour characters were gone..

Im not saying I didn't like it, or wasn't upset. Of course I was at the ending. (Speaking of FO3)

But the way they went about adding the DLC made it like your whole part in the change of the wasteland nothing but a dream.

Unless they really devote to making the DLC and really show how the world around you has changed and advanced in the Mojave instead of adding a few missions and letting you back into the game.. I would rather see the credits roll every time I end the game. Period.

I agree. If I just purified the lake, why is it still radioactive? That just ruined it for me.

That and the fact that 90% of the wasteland seemed oblivious to the fact the water was purified.. or at least didn't give a damn about it.

I liked the fact that i could develope my player more but it was sort of a wet fuse...went out after a bit.
I would like to see a DLC that does make the game continue but really well done and smart

That, and not to mention the story of Broken Steel was extremely linear.

"ENCLAVE R BAD, KEEL ENCLAVE, YOU ARE WINRAR"

I mean, why couldn't you join up with the Enclave from the start if you put the modified FEV in the water. Instead, you start with the BoS who, instead of killing you for what you just did, are only a little bit pissed off and want you to fight against a faction you just helped. Seems like the BoS out east really don't have a brain... :prod:

But they do have an immunity to the FEV water, everyone has... Except you anyway...
Yeah I would rathe a closed ending, atleast I can imagine my choices matter, not have them made meaningless.
