Bouncing of Collision

I'm working on an elevator mesh, I have created it in blender and used a static trianglemesh collision because it has an inward dent. Everything looks fine. But when I walk into the elevator I suddenly teleport on top of it. I've tried many different things but it mostly ends up like that or worse. What am I doing wrong?

Probably has to do with how the mesh normals (direction of facing) are setup.

I flipped the normals in blender but it did not work, is there perhaps some other way to do it?
