My computer has already been repaired once from it's motherboard being fried being plugged into 140 year old outlets without using a nice power bar with a power breaker, so I won't be upgrading my computer any further. So how would Skyrim be able to look for me playing it? Be nice if someone could compare with Oblivion pictures.

You have only shown us your graphics card specs. We would also need to know your motherboard model, CPU and RAM etc.

However, generally speaking most games are fine on a decent single core, 2gb ddr2 ram, and a good GPU.

Since Skyrim will be released on Xbox 360 and PS3, your PC will only need the specs of Xbox 360/PS3.

That's pretty low, honestly. My ancient underpowered card is at #126, and I have to play Oblivon or Fallout 3 at low-mid settings. (Good number of things turned down, all the fancies like AA / AF / fancy shadow & reflection turned off, etc.)

The minimum requirements should still be pretty low since it's being made cross platform, but a number of PC games these days have had their minimum graphics card upped to the 8800 (the weakest of which is #71 on that list).


Still, we have no idea what the actual requirements will be yet.

Haha that guy referred to my thread coming from me, I used to have laptop with an 8400GS and the FPS was very jagged, at the lowest graphics. It was 20 fps indoors and I quit the game before I got outside the prison... so I would say, there is a chance, but it would be so jagged, and look so rubbish, your best using a console for it... if you need any advice on buying a new desktop possibly (upgrading a laptop is as expensive as buying a new one) so PM me.

Just to say, as the guy said above, your card is ranked 160 something on this list http://www.overclock.net/graphics-cards-general/502403-graphics-card-ranking-5th-time-last.html which I use myself as well, and on my thread the lowish graphics area starts around the 100 rank area.

Interesting. My card is in the #62 spot.

It will be a help when they post the actual requirements methinks.
