On ps3 my characters will be with me 4awhile then out of no where there gone..then i went back 2 my penthouse suite and there was 1 of my companions which was the doctor ...Rex the(Dog) he always is there but i told him to leave my side it said he was returning 2 the lucky 38 and he went back 2 the kings place instead..is this happening 2 any one else on ps3 and its most likely a bug i thin.

Happened to me. They leave after a few game days(about a week in game I'd estimate) if you make them wait somewhere. I had both Rex and Cass at my hotel in Novac, after about a week in game they returned to their original places. I don't think its a glitch, I think it was done so they just don't stand around in one of your houses for as long as you keep them there. I had the companions in Fallout 3 but I never used them so they stood around my Megaton house, for many in game months.

had the same Rex problem with the Xbox, not too bad a problem though. only really had a problem with sending companions back home while i was far away from where they stay, i usually just drop them off directly where i want them to go
