I actually enjoyed this quest and would like more of them, it adds mystery to the game, a bit like finding the notes from the later Dark brotherhood quests. Would like to hear your feedback

Yes, but not just for easter eggs, for actual quest lines too, like in Morrowind with the Twin Lamps.
