body size?

I have seen multiple threads about people wanting the npc's to have different body sizes, but i was thinking that the creatures in the skyrim world should also have different body sizes. I remeber in oblivion that there was a deep underwater cave with a lot of slaughter fish, and at the bottom there was a huge slaughter fish which was a lot harder to kill, so maybe they could implement that to skyrim but with all the creatures, the bigger the body size the stronger they are. I also dont imagine that to be to hard to do since they just have to scale the models and twick a few things. do you guys think that this would be a good thing to add to skyrim?

Meh.

Whatever. They had a huge mudcrab too, though it was no tougher than a normal one.

I remember that huge slaughter fish. I also remember the giant mudcrab. I think body size for NPC's is more important than for monsters though. Think about the textures too, they would have to redo them all for fat people, or stretch the textures and then they would look weird.

I assume it'll be like Fallout 3 and NV. There will be normal creatures, and special giant versions of those creatures.

I'd like that. It makes since. After all, when you see a pack of wolves on TV, you think that the biggest wolf will be able to turn the others inside out in a one-on-one.

Hmm I think it would be cool if Bethesda simply gave creatures a random set scale command, that gives them a limited variation. And on occasion there would be miniature creatures, or giants. And maybe at a certain scale percentage the giant versions would cause the ground to shake a little bit with a rumbling sound, while the very tiny ones could turn transparent before attacking the player or someone else.

I think that every race should have a range of rare-to non-rare body sizes, and almost everybody has a different height depending on their age and race, and some spontanious hieht differences to boot (hence genetics).

yea, i agree with a lot of what you guys said, i also kind of wanted this because you can do all sort of things with it, for example trying to find the biggest or smallest of something is something that people like to do, so there could add quest where you have to find a 20ft slaughterfish, or a 9ft bear, but maybe it would to be too much to add, who knows.
