I have done the side-quest: That lucky old sun and e-de's pre-recorded protocol has activated and on some other sites it says wait 3 - 9 days and you should have a response from either the BoS or the followers of the Apocalypse and i've waited weeks and still no new message what do I do?

You have to open ED-E's first two audio logs by talking to certain people in the Wasteland. Then eventually you get two messages, one from Knight Lorenzo with the BOS, or that scientist lady from TFOTA in Old Mormon Fort. One gives ED-E armor, the other gives him an upgraded Zapper laser.

What!, I could have had an upgraded laser. OMFG!

And here i have problem, ED-E newer fired a shoot after the upgrade to Zapper laser, so i think given her up, no use more, other also notice this?
